Springkell Wedding | Summer 2022 

It’s always a pleasure to visit Springkell, an Exclusive Boutique Hotel and Wedding Venue situated just outside Eaglesfield. Within close proximity to the M74 and 6 miles from Gretna Green Springkell is easily accessed.  

Whether you dream of an intimate getaway for two, a huge wedding celebration or something in between, Springkell is a beautiful Palladian Mansion offering stunning rooms, elegant dining, and a range of bespoke wedding options. 

On a  calm September morning, Morgen and Jochen were very relaxed with both sets of morning preparations on site, the atmosphere around the house was lovely and everyone was rather excited. I love the morning of a wedding. It’s a lovely part of the day. Some great emotions are captured for sure! Enjoy the highlights from the big day! 

Humanist Wedding Ceremony

The Ceremony was conducted by Tasha Monaghan Leung. A lovely, fun Humanist ceremony with lots of humour and heartwarming content. That leather jacket is awesome!

Springkell has so many locations to get great photos during the couple shoot. All are within a short walk from the main house too.

Family formal shots were done on the lawns outside the house during canapes and mingling. 

There was even time for some close-up magic and croquet!
