My approach to your wedding day

My style is mostly Documentary. I shoot weddings in a relaxed fun manner. Tears, laughter and everything else as and when it happens. With the exception of your couple shoot and formal family photos, everything else will be natural.

I like to blend in and become a part of the day. It’s a real pleasure to be a part of your wedding and I count myself very fortunate to make my living shooting Wedding Photography in Scotland.

I won’t ask you to do much in the way of posing as I prefer to let you do your thing. Always on the lookout for little things happening to capture those moments.

Often we will have met in person or on a video call beforehand but this is not always possible. An option is to book a pre-wedding or engagement shoot and we can get a feel for each other before the big day.

During the couple shoot, I will whisk you away for a short time to get those lovely intimate shots you will treasure for the rest of your lives. This can be after dinner in the summer months as I do love a sunset! This is by no means written in stone though I am happy to work around you guys, it’s your day!

This time is also a great opportunity for you to  “have a wee chat” with each other and let it sink in that you are now married! I like to work quickly. This comes from working as a wedding filmmaker for many years. I also love to work as a team with filmmakers on your big day so no issues there at all. We are all about working for you guys. I can also offer a package which would include your wedding film too.

If you book me you get me. You may also get a second shooter if required but they will be from a very small list of approved guys and gals.
